CHICONI - A very rare and stunning Palm Beach 50. Fresh to the market and ready to cruise to Hamilton Island north or anywhere on our magnificent east coast. Palm Beach 50-16 was built for a very capable yachtsman with an eye for detail. Many miles behind the wheel of his famous racing/cruising yachts led him to the greyhound of the motor yacht world, to secure and build the motor yacht of his dreams. This Palm Beach 50 Express has a heart of beautifully selected handcrafted golden teak finished to perfection, a hallmark of all Palm Beach Motor Yachts. Twin cabins are a rare find, convenient for a weekend with family or friends.

FRONT CABIN AREA : The master cabin is spacious and comfortable with the large master island bed surrounded by all the comforts for lazy weekends or passage making in style. Plenty of natural light and air into both cabins via large overhead opening hatches, allowing for naturally ventilated cabins - or let the air conditioning do the work. Conveniently situated on the starboard side opposite the guest cabin is a very spacious head and shower area with moulded Palm Beach cream gelcoat,  beautifully laid teak flooring, with a Tecma electric head. The portside guest cabin has bunks, good stowage and a dressing table with mirror, sliding teak privacy door, natural light via the two elliptical ports and overhead hatch, this is a very comfortable cabin for short stays or when off watch on a passage to your next anchorage.

HELM STATION : Single navigator helm chair with white Ultraleather ensures comfort and control when skippering this PB50. The current owner has specified and has ready to install a twin Palm Beach helm seat as an upgrade from the single helm if desired. A custom made teak and stainless wheel compliments the traditional teak and leather helm console. Navigation gear includes Raymarine AXIOM Pro GPS, autopilot and depth sounder. Flir infrared Navigator 2 night vision, a good addition for coastal cruising at night or navigating the local waterways after dark. Side Power bow and stern thrusters assist with docking, all adding to CHICONI'S ease of operation.

PERFORMANCE: 2 x Yanmar 6LY3-ETP 480HP coupled to perfectly balanced stainless shafts with bronze 4 blade props. The PB50 has the unique V-Warp® hull allowing her to slice through the waves giving a smooth ride that reduces any fatigue common on many craft in unfavourable conditions. This makes the Palm Beach 50 one of the most efficient 50 footers on the planet. Cruising speed is 26 knots, and with a loping speed of 21 knots CHICONI will only use 68 litres and hour total fuel burn. The beautiful teak dash still sports analogue gauges that are practical as they are aesthetically pleasing. The Raymarine Axiom display is the skippers go to as well as the gauges. The Kohler 7KW genset is located in the plant room below decks in saloon and is powerful and quite inside its own sound shield and soundproof plant room. Powerful enough to run 2 x webasto units, split to look after the saloon and sleeping areas separately.

SALOON : large freshly upholstered L shaped lounge well situated giving a good area for a social inside lunch, utilising the solid drop leaf teak table or alfresco time and move the table to the cockpit - seat up to 6. The lounge enables good vision of the pop up Samsung LCD Smart TV, and is a good single day bed. Starboard side teak cabinets hold all your glasses and vino.

GALLEY : Silestone benchtops feature throughout, they add a solid dimension and compliment the warmth of the teak fitout. The galley L shaped silestone bench top and apposing serving area are located to give an open in door outdoor feel. Stainless recessed sink , Breville 2 burner hotplate, LG convection oven and Isotherm fridge/freezer is all you need to feed you & the crew, or just two. The large tempered glass aft bulkhead disappears electrically to provide a spacious indoor out door servery / bar. with the large Cabin side windows also electric at the helm and port saloon this ensures plenty of light and fresh air.

COCKPIT & SWIM PLATFORM: The Palm Beach 50 is renowned for the generous cockpit feeding straight of the swim platform. Labelled the ultimate picnic boat - this area lives up to the reputation. beautiful smooth teak laid decks, with large hatches to stow the toys and the Italian alloy folding deck chairs, the aft L shape lounge is fit for 6 people for lunch and a pull out day bed for the afternoon snooze. 2 x Isotherm fridges conveniently located in the cockpit, so you don't have to go inside after your swim off the aft swim platform. A swimming pool type stainless folding swim ladder stowed under the aft deck is easy to install for water time. A hot/cold shower is located inside the transom door for a washdown. The aft staple rail is a very practical feature that locates the stainless steel Sovereign BBQ and a bait board (if fishing). Also utilised to house the weaver davits to accommodate the new AB tender and Torqeedo Travel 1003 outboard. CHICONI is the ultimate east coast explorer or quite bay moocher.
